In February 2023, the Canadian arm of the US-based real estate company OJO was acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Shortly after the acquisition, OJO Canada was rebranded as Houseful, a natural first step in positioning the company in its new market.

We positioned the Houseful brand as the homeowner’s ally, a trusted partner that sees them for who they are and provides individualized support to meet their unique needs.

Results

The completion of the rebrand enabled growth marketing to go into hyperdrive. We launched our first national brand campaign in January 2024, which complemented our always-on performance marketing, and grew our brand tremendously. Our estimated total reach was over 46 million across four channels.

In addition, the release of the Houseful brand built internal confidence and morale. With an identity to rally around, dedication and collaboration across the organization increased. The brand work was also received with instant positive feedback from the real estate agents within the agent network, an external group of individuals who work alongside our team to guide buyers through their home journey, increasing their confidence in us and dedication to us as a trusted business partner.
