RED VELVET’s CEO, Cindy Y. Lo, self-published Behind The RED VELVET Curtain to share her experience of building and running a successful event planning business and inspire future entrepreneurs in any industry. Knowing that the stories she was sharing throughout the book were one-of-a-kind, the book cover had to also reflect the same quality. That led me to photograph custom backgrounds before diving into the design process.
